Background
The Trade Promotion and Economic Development Association of Six Mekong Countries was established to promote economic cooperation, trade, and sustainable development across all countries in the Mekong River group: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and China. The Mekong region is a key area with the potential to become a hub for trade, clean energy development, and transportation links in Southeast Asia
